Just bought a town in West Virginia![Shirley, WV. pop. 200] The internet is dangerous!!

Below are the house and general store and MY OWN POST OFFICE!

Plus a book exchange, a two-story barn, a garage, a pump house with grape arbor, a tractor barn, a chicken house, a second residence that may be salvageable, a creek and 71 acres.

My head is spinning............"

Lucinda was the co-owner of Atticus Books and still sells books on the web. To find out more, go to: http://www.atticusbooks.com/store/aboutatticus.html

On the Beach

On the beach 15

Cape May was the first place that Heather and I ever went for vacation and while returning every Easter is a tradition, it's nice to go there "in-season" when it's actually beach weather.

We used to always try to stay at the Queen Victoria, a nice Bed & Breakfast, a block from the beach. Occasionally, we'd stay at their sister property, The Queen's Hotel, which is where we first stayed with Lily(then 7 weeks old). That first trip with Lily(like this recent one) was kind of spur of the moment, so when we decided to extend it by a couple of nights, The Queen's Hotel could not accommodate us. We ended up at Congress Hall(which evidently has been around in one form or another since 1816, a history can be found at: http://www.congresshall.com/pages/histmain_new.html), which turned out to be much more kid-friendly. It also has a lot more ammenities and a resort atmosphere. We've ended up there ever since.
