Not only did my father visit for the occasion of Zoe's baptism, Heather's folks and niece Haley were here as well. They ended up staying with my sister-in-law, so I would get more time with my father(his visits are quite rare). As a result, other than the big event, I didn't actually see them much. The day trip to the Cactoctin Wildlife Preserve was a notable exception...

Zoe's Baptism

The occasion of Zoe's baptism, would mark only the third time that I have seen my father since my parent's divorced in 1991. It was also the first time that he stayed at the house rather than a hotel. To be honest, I expected it to be at least a little weird, but it wasn't. All in all, it was a very nice visit. For the most part, we managed to keep points of friction between us(like politics) to a minimum. Although, it was made pretty clear that I need to discipline Lily more rigorously and that he is a firm believer in the use of spanking...

Obviously, I'm a bit behind in downloading the photos I've taken on to the computer(or to the photo-sharing site, or this blog). Nevertheless, Lily did have a birthday party at My Gym recently. It went quite well I thought and Lily and all her little friends appeared to have lots of fun. This picture(and a few others) from the party was e-mailed to me today
